The current situation with Sniperx.
I've already been asked by a few people what is going on with him, so let me explain. He has not been banned. He was suspended for deliberately and defiantly breaking the rules solely to cause a fight and "smear" me. (that's his word). We had a lively debate going on about GHK and he decided to turn it into a shit storm. I asked him to stop and as you can see on page 10 of that topic, he agreed, but then changed course.
so he has been suspended for 7 days to cool off. He has stated more than once that he is above the rules. now he will see that is not the case. As to everyone's deals, it seems most everyone has been reimbursed except for one. And there are other circumstances outside of this site involved in that one that are no one's business but Paul's and the other person involved.
Now, Sniperx knows about the poll we took here. Someone told him. We posted that poll because we thought it was the fair thing to do. We made this forum and that poll as a means to help those victimized by Sniperx. Most everyone appreciated that, but one person apparently thought he'd throw the rest of us under the bus to get in Sniperx's good graces. Trust me, that won't warrant much for you so don't hold your breath expecting him to repay you. I guess that's how I and others on this site get shown appreciation for what we did. But I don't care if he knows, in fact I'm glad he does in a way.
I want to make something clear: Despite what Paul Whitney wants to believe (and wants you to believe), no one here, I or otherwise, had a grudge against him. To my knowledge, none of the admins here hold one with him even now, even me. And that's despite the racist, bigoted, threatening insults he's thrown my way repeatedly. . We did what we thought was right. Paul has caused havoc here for years, from harassing members, threatening other sellers,cheating people, and possibly even ratting one out to Japanese police to eliminate competition. Yet he's still allowed here yet he claims we're out to get him. He was making great points in the GHK thread and everything was fine until he decided to pick a fight. Well, he's not getting one. What he is getting is a slice of humble pie.
Since I know a certain someone will be passing this on to him, I'll make it clear that nothing in this topic is something I haven't already said directly to him. I'm willing to consider his sales troubles water under the bridge, and was doing just that until he brought them up. I think it's best to let his future here remain in his hands. His actions will dictate whether he remains. If the owner of the site becomes tired of them, he will probably deal with him as he sees fit. At the end of the day, this is a privately run site, run by a man who has a ton of bigger things to worry about. I'd just as soon close this sub-forum and that may happen sooner rather than later as it's run its course.
For the people who have expressed appreciation for what we did here, I am glad we could help. For the person who decided to stir shit up by telling him about the poll, I hope you feel real big. Sniperx will come back after hi suspension and we'll see if his attitude changes. The ball is in his court. Everyone can make their own judgment as to whether or not to do business with him again.
EDIT: On a side note, odds are once we close the forum, we'll remove everyone from the unfulfilled group and lock the forum, that way everyone's post counts don't get all screwed up by use deleting all these threads.
